At swim class yesterday (her first day back in almost a year), Giovanna of course cried. Her swim teacher is very good at soothing her because she recognizes Giovanna is afraid and not being difficult just for the sake of being difficult. Plus she is a patient and kind woman who is perfect for this kind of job. The rest of the swim instructors are pretty cold and hard, some will even splash water in the faces of the children to stop them from crying. One of my least favorite instructors went up to Giovanna's teacher and said "I remember her! She hasn't changed a bit, every bit the princess she was last year" and then she laughed. Bitch? I am pregnant and unmedicated. Do you have ANY. IDEA. how close I was to flying out of my chair and scratching your eyes out? Where do you think Giovanna gets her spunk? You got one free pass. Next time, I kick your teeth in. I. AM. WATCHING. YOU.
